Rancho La Purisima is a horse breeding and boarding facility as well as a working cattle ranch. It is nestled in its own secluded valley of over 1,000 acres within the greater Santa Ynez Valley (about 40 miles north of Santa Barbara, California). The ranch is owned and operated by Paul and Tina McEnroe. Visit their website at www.rancholapurisima.com.

I have been fortunate again this year to be a part of the eventing high performance team. The clinics are taught by US Eventing coach Mark Phillips and his wife Sandy, international dressage rider. I have completed three training sessions feeling confident and finally accepted as a team player. All of my sacrifices and stress seem to be subsiding with just a few words from Mark: "Excellent and I am feeling confident about the two of you." I am very hopeful for this year and am really looking forward to stepping our game up. Mark seems to be focused on being an influential and positive mentor on a quest to bring home a team medal at the World Equestrian games this year. I hope to be a team member aboard my loyal mount The Good Witch. Our time to shine is moments away.

I aspire to be the coach I am coached by. She not only gives me confidence, enhances my skills and understanding, but builds on my education so that I better understand how to encourage my horses to be superior athletes, but most importantly enjoy their job. Being a team reflects on the rider, horse, and coach. I can honestly say myself, Witchy, Nabouco and Ginnie are playing to win!
My right hand, Whitney has come into my world full of great expectations, talent and a honest work ethic. She brought along her superior mount Fleeceworks Starlight who is full of experience. Together with my guidance, they will learn a language of their own and achieve their respective goals. At the moment we are filling in the gaps that will reward them with solid education. I strive to be the coach that Ginnie is it to me
